The Rock That Hold All Parts Together

Our future goals and aspirations begins with a solid foundation. A rock foundation is one in which no matter what, it will stand the test of time. A rock foundation last throughout generations. God is building a solid temple in which he is pleased to be right at home. Christians are the building material. Christians are part of the ROCK. Ephesians 2:20-22 (MSG Bible) explains that God is building a home. “He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together.

We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.” But you see, the building material must be approved as durable, and of fine quality. 1 Peter 2:5-8 (MSG Bible) says “Present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you’ll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God.” Proverbs 13:14 (MSG Bible) and Proverbs 13:14 put it this way saying “The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, so, no more drinking from death-tainted wells!” Some of us are walking off the construction site seeking a different foundation. God said in Jeremiah 2:13 (MSG Bible) “My people have committed a compound sin: they’ve walked out on me, the fountain Of fresh flowing waters, and then dug cisterns—cisterns that leak, cisterns that are no better than sieves (a straining utensil).” Are your part of the Solid Rock Foundation?
