Our words are powerful than those of the enemy for true believer are a part of God’s divine nature. A true believer will not be trapped into enticing words form the enemy. If we don’t want the devils word to conquer us we must pray that God order our steps.

Psalm 119:133 states:

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

The story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel chapter 17 is a great analogy of how we should face the giants in our lives.

David, a boy talk some junk to that 9 feet tall giant. Listen to David’s words before he killed the mighty giant that had cursed the armies of God over a month.

In verse 25-26 of chapter 17 it states: And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father’s house free in Israel.

And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

David called the giant uncircumcised …meaning that he was a man already cut off from God, so how could he possible win. You see David knew that with God on his side he could not lose.
