We are always thinking about the things we do wrong and we fail to remember that anyone who have already accepted Jesus Christ into their lives are accounted as righteous in the eyes of God. Jesus took away the ability for sin to reign over a believer. Giving in to and agreeing with sin is actually rejecting the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus who died that we may be free. We are actually choosing to continue to be slaves to sin.
As a Christian, we do not practice being a sinner. We may unintentionally do wrong but when we are born again, we do not allow our guilt to make us feel un-worthy. Keep resisting until you finally conquer and make your flesh line up with the spirit person. The only way for this to happen is through constant meditation on the Word of God and remembering that as a born again Christian Jesus died for all your sins; past, present and future. The Bible tells us in:
Hebrews 10:26-28 That….
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
