Proverbs 6:2 says thou art snared with the words of thy mouth; thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
Isaiah 8:15 says And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared and be taken.
However, in Proverbs 12:13 it says the wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips but the JUST shall come out of trouble. Have you ever watched a boxing matched and noticed that both opponents are trying to weaken one another by finding the weak pressure points? Well once an opponent finds that weak spot, he or she pounces away at that same spot, until the other one is knocked out or down and cannot get up. In the same manner, we take part in a daily spiritual boxing match. For instance, if the enemy knows that a particular thing or person annoys you, he pounces away at the place of annoyance until you either put up a good fight or get knocked out or down and cannot get up.
Well the enemy takes note of what we say and acts upon it. He locates the strong holds in our life then takes advantage of those weaknesses then he tries to take us out. If we are not accustomed to meditating on the word of God, we make his quest so much easier. Be careful not to get into matches especially when you do not have on you boxing gloves, which are the anointed instructions God gave us in his Holy Word.
